REPAIR Reconnection Cheat Sheet

$0.00Price

Created as the companion resource to Episode 5 of Middle School Mayhem™ How to Reconnect With Your Teen After a Blowup, the REPAIR Cheat Sheet helps parents navigate what happens after an argument when emotions have settled, but the relationship and the original issue still need attention.

Based directly on the episode’s teaching, REPAIR helps parents take responsibility for their own behavior without absorbing responsibility for their child’s choices.

The REPAIR Framework walks parents through six steps: Return When You’re Ready, Examine Your Part, Preserve Their Accountability, Address the Issue, Invite Reconnection, and Reinforce the Relationship & Boundary.

This 2-page printable includes a quick-reference guide to the complete REPAIR Framework plus a guided worksheet for mapping out a real conflict.

Parents can identify what belongs to them, clarify what their child is still accountable for, address the original issue or consequence, and intentionally reconnect without removing the boundary.

Because apologizing doesn’t mean surrendering your authority and reconnecting doesn’t mean pretending nothing happened.

Repair doesn’t erase the boundary. It repairs what happened around the boundary.
