The Sunday Sit-Down Family Planner

$15.00Price

What if your family had a place to talk before there was a problem?

The Sunday Sit-Down™ Family Planner is a 12-week guided family planner designed to help families slow down, talk intentionally, stay organized, and strengthen connection through consistent conversation.

Too often, family conversations happen only after something has gone wrong, a bad grade, an argument, a broken rule, a difficult decision, or a behavior concern. This planner helps create a different rhythm: a regular time for your family to check in, look at the week ahead, talk through what matters, laugh together, and learn more about one another.

And despite the name, your Sit-Down does not have to happen on Sunday. Choose the day and time that works for your family. The goal is not perfection. The goal is consistency.

Each weekly Sit-Down guides your family through four simple areas:

  • Bring Everyone Together- Share the highs, lows, and things everyone needs to know.
  • Organize Our Week- Coordinate schedules, priorities, responsibilities, reminders, and plans.
  • Navigate What Matters- Make space for concerns, decisions, conflict, expectations, behavior, or anything your family needs to work through.
  • Develop Together- Have intentional conversations about character, responsibility, relationships, decision-making, life skills, faith and values, school, and growing up.

But this is more than a weekly planner.

The Family Resource Section gives you practical tools to keep conversations going when you are not sure what to say next, including:

  • 21 Conversation Starters
  • 21 Would You Rather questions
  • 21 Riddles and brain breaks
  • Behavior Scenarios that help families talk about self-awareness, avoidance, attention seeking, defiance, choices and consequences, conflict, accountability, and restoration
  • “Open the Conversation” prompts for school, behavior, emotions, relationships, independence, money, social media, peer pressure, and more
  • Family Operations pages for responsibilities, routines, communication, expectations, emergency planning, and important family information
  • Guidance for recognizing when a concern may need support beyond the family conversation
  • Notes pages for anything your family wants to remember, revisit, or talk about later

Created by educator and behavior strategist Tamara Braxton, M.Ed., The Sunday Sit-Down™ Family Planner was informed by research in family routines, adolescent development, behavior support, social-emotional learning, and restorative practices.

This planner is not about creating the perfect family meeting.

It is about creating your family’s place to return to, a place where everyone has a voice, important things can be discussed, and connection can grow one conversation at a time.

Stronger families are built one conversation at a time.
